The A. P. Mahoney Library hosts an annual lecture to celebrate Theological Libraries Month, an initiative of the American Theological Library Association, held in October of each year. (http://admin.atla.com/Members/programs/tlm/Pages/default.aspx) The lecture serves as a vehicle to showcase the seminary’s talented faculty and is followed by a reception in the library. Father Murray Watson, in the inaugural address delivered in 2010, spoke on the topic When Rome Meets Jerusalem: What’s at Stake in the Catholic-Jewish Dialogue. The 2011 lecture by Father Michael Prieur, Rediscovering our Seminary Charisms: St. Peter’s on the Cusp of its Second Century launched our centennial celebrations in 2012.

The A. P. Mahoney Library lecture is held in the auditorium on the Wednesday evening following the Thanksgiving Holiday.
